AlexANDRA dening - VIOLIN

Alex has lived in the Southern Highlands nearly all her life.  She started playing piano, having lessons through Powerpoint back in the early 2000s when the store was located in Mittagong. She started violin at age 11 and has since been playing in various ensembles across the Southern Highlands in weddings, musicals, church groups and many more. Alex also plays cello and viola, and enjoys reading, movies and cooking.

Alex has studied a Bachelor of Music at ANU, a Masters in Secondary Teaching (Music) at UNE, and completed the Colourstrings violin training. She is also a current member of the Southern Highlands Symphony Orchestra, Steel City Strings and performs on occasion with the Highlands Music collective.
