GLENYS MAY - FLUTE, PIANO, GUITAR

Glenys had her first taste of teaching music back in 1987 as part of her Creative Arts studies at the time. She loved it and since then, not a year has passed without her teaching something, both in many local schools and in her own private enterprises.

As one of the original tutors of Powerpoint Music, Glenys has taught a variety of instruments to learners of all ages and is excited to return to teaching music in 2024.

Glenys has a Bachelor of Arts in Musicology; Master of Teaching degree and is an Associate Member of the Australian Dyslexia Association. She is also the Learning Support Teacher in a local Primary School - another role she enjoys immensely. 

Glenys treasures being a member of Rapunzel’s Party, a local six piece band, in which she gets to sing, play many instruments, and contribute original songs.
