Jarmila is an experienced Music Educator, having worked with the Australian Institute of Music, many local schools, as well as operating a private studio for over 20 years.

Jarmila has a warm, personal approach to teaching music to both children and adults, developing solid technique whilst still tailoring to the students’ individual needs. She also focuses on creativity and encouragement in order to build confidence and discover the joy of making music.

Jarmila specialises in preparing students for tertiary auditions, and AMEB and Trinity examinations. She has a particular interest in the effects of music on neural development throughout our entire life span. Many of her former students now work professionally in a wide variety of musical fields.

Jarmila is a multi-faceted professional musician. She has extensive experience conducting and supporting choirs and orchestras such as Sydney Youth Orchestra. Jarmila has received many commissions to compose and perform for corporate functions and personal events, and has a passion for theatre having served as Musical Director for many Sydney and local productions.
